If an error message is output, it appears on the control unit display.
Please observe the corresponding instructions for the control unit.
Malfunction
possible cause
Remedy
Pump noise
Air in the system
Vent and/or flush
System pressure too low
Check pressure, increase if
necessary
Pump runs, but no flow rate
appears on the flow meter.

The flow meter is jammed or
defective.
Check the functionality of the
flow meter.
The shut-off device is closed. Open the shut-off device
Throttle for flow rate adjust-
ment is closed.

The tank cools at night.
When the pump in the supply
and return line is switched off
at different temperatures, the
temperature of the collector
exceeds the outside temper-
ature during the night.
The gravity brake does not
close.
Check the position of the
adjusting handle and inspect
the gravity brake for leaks
(jammed splinters, dirt parti-
cles in the sealing surface).
Change the wiring. Do not
connect the solar heat ex-
changer directly, but pull the
supply lines downwards in a
U-shape.
This siphon supports the
gravity brake.
If necessary, a two-way
valve can be mounted which
is switched at the same time
as the pump.
Incorrect currents develop as
a result of in-pipe circula-
tions, particularly in short
pipe networks with a low
drop in pressure.
Installation of a gravity brake
or thermal insulation loop
(siphon) in the supply line.

If the solar station is decommissioned for a prolonged period and kept in an area that is
prone to frost, the power supply must be disconnected and the system drained completely.
If the solar station is being decommissioned once and for all, the power supply for all of the
corresponding system components must be disconnected and all of the relevant lines and
components drained completely.
The decommissioning, dismantling and disposal processes should only be conducted by
qualified, specialist personnel. Components and materials must be disposed of in accord-
ance with the current applicable regulations.
