After 15-20 seconds, the LED on the transmitter will remain solid.
The Elite 800 headset will now be paired to the transmitter and you will be able to hear game
audio and chat from the console.
Troubleshooting:
Q. I can't put the headset in pairing mode. What's wrong?
A. Make sure headset is powered off before beginning the pairing process. When pairing the
headset, press and hold the
Power
button for 5 seconds. Letting go earlier than that will cause
the headset to power on and not enter pairing mode. In addition, disconnect the headset charging
cable if it is plugged in. If the headset is charging, you will not be able to perform the pairing
process.
Q. My headset and transmitter are paired but I can't hear audio through the headset.
What do I do?
A. If you cannot hear game audio through the headset even though the LED on the transmitter is
solid and the LED on the headset is blinking, make sure the optical cable is plugged securely
from the Optical Input on the back of the transmitter to the optical output on the back of the
Console. In addition, make sure that the Sound Settings are configured correctly. Under '
Digital
Optical
' or '
Digital Out (OPTICAL)
', only '
Dolby Digital 5.1
' must be checked.
