over the positive terminal.
Note:
If time does not permit charging the battery,
or if charging equipment is not available, connect
the negative battery cable and run the vehicle
continuously for 20 to 30 minutes to sufficiently
charge the battery.
Servicing the Engine
The engine is shipped with oil; check oil level and if
necessary fill to the appropriate level. Exmark 4-Cycle
Premium Engine Oil is recommended; refer to the
Engine Owner's manual for an appropriate API rating
and viscosity.
Servicing the Hydraulic Oil
The machine is shipped with hydraulic oil in the
reservoir.
1.
Run the machine for approximately 15 minutes to
allow any extra air to purge out of the hydraulic
system.
2.
Check hydraulic reservoir and if necessary fill the
reservoir to the appropriate level with Exmark
Premium Hydro oil (see the Operator’s manual).
3.
Replace hydraulic reservoir cap and tighten until
snug.
Do Not overtighten.
Lowering Anti-Tip Brackets
(If Applicable)
The left and right anti-tip brackets need to be rotated
into positionand secured. Remove the lower bolts and
loosen the top bolts so the brackets can rotate down into
the correct position. Install the lower bolts through the
bracket and frame and tighten all four bolts.

Removing Zip Tie on Hand Spray
Gun
Some machines may be shipped with the hand spray gun
zip-tied to the hose. Remove the zip tie before use.
Installing the Cable/Display Mount
Some machines may be shipped with the cable/display
mount rotated to the side.

Remove and retain the bottom bolt

Loosen the top bolt enough to rotate the
cable/display mount upward.
3.
Line up the mount with the hole in the console.
4.
Install the bottom bolt through the mount and into
the console.
5.
Tighten the top and bottom bolt.
