The diameter of the saucepan must be the same or slightly larger than that of the electric
hotplate. Never use a pan which is smaller than the electric hotplate.
Use flat-bottomed pans only.
Preferably cover pans with a lid to permit cooking at a lower heat.
Always cook vegetables and potatoes, etc. in as little water to reduce cooking times.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power at the main circuit breaker of the
electrical system.
Do not clean the appliance surfaces when still hot.
ELECTRIC HOT PLATES
After use, for a good conservation, the hot plate must be slightly greased by means of a
cloth soaked with oil, so that the surface remains always clean and bright.
This avoids the eventual formation of rust too.
