. Fit the isolator key as shown and ensure correct location.

If the mower is not going to be used immediately, fit the isolator key 12 in the storage position.

. Close battery cover 11.
Removing the Battery:
Lift the battery cover latch and lift up battery cover 11.
Remove isolator key 12, refit in storage position. Lift the battery cover latch.
Remove the battery 9.
Indication of the Element Lights:
Charging Procedure F:
The charging procedure starts as soon as the adapter of the battery pack charger is plugged into the socket outlet,
and the charger output plug 19 is inserted into the battery pack 9. Due to the intelligent charging method, the
charging condition of the battery pack is automatically detected and the battery pack is charged with the
optimum charging current, depending on battery pack temperature and voltage. This gives longer life to the
battery pack and always leaves it fully charged when kept in the charger for storage.
LED status display

If the battery pack is not installed (no load condition): LED indicator 18 is lit green.
Charging Procedure:
When charging the battery pack 9 the LED indicator 18 displays red and the battery pack charging indicator 17
displays three green LED light on and off (blinking).
Battery Pack Charging:
Fully charged, the LED 18 displays green (no blinking). Now the battery pack can be removed for immediate
use.
Note:
The charging procedure is only possible when the battery pack temperature is within the allowable
charging temperature range.
Checking the Battery Pack Charge:
Remove the battery pack 9. Press the button 16 to actuate the battery pack indicator 17. After 3 seconds, the
battery pack indicator 17 goes out automatically.
