As the Extra Chef has an anti-slip rim under its container, it will not slide around while you are pulling the cord
(make sure countertop is clean and dry). After 2 or 3 pulls, take the Extra Chef in both hands and shake it to
regroup ingredients, place it back on the countertop and continue pulling until you have reached the desired
result.

To use the funnel, open the soft cap in the adaptor ring and turn it on the side. Place the funnel in the recess
opening. The funnel has a position closed for measuring, and a position open for pouring while mixing. This is
indicated by the symbol on the funnel. The funnel has a capacity of 50ml and measurements as indicated inside
the funnel (15ml, 30ml and 50ml). To ensure that you can easily continue pulling the pull cord while having the
funnel in place, position the pull cord cover in the adaptor ring with the pull cord at an angle of 90° or 180° with
the funnel. Then screw the bayonet clockwise to fix the pull cord cover in the adaptor ring.
To disassemble:

Take the cover off by removing the complete top cover (adaptor ring and pull cord cover) and remove the
blades or the paddle whisk carefully before scraping out the food.
WARNING!! Avoid touching the blades as they are extremely sharp.
Tips for Use:

The Extra Chef is used for chopping vegetables such as onions, carrots, zucchini, peppers, cabbage and more. If
you are in a hurry, the Extra Chef allows making all–in-one preparation such as omelettes with vegetables or
potato fritters.

By removing the complete top cover (adaptor ring and pull cord cover) and replacing by the Speedy Chef cover
(not part of the set) you can use the Extra Chef also for whipping cream and egg whites. This way a complete
whipping and whisking solution is offered to the consumer. It beats, whips and whisks cream, egg whites,
pancakes, batter and omelets faster – much quicker and quieter than an electrical beater.
Care:
•
The Extra Chef is not recommended for the exclusive use of abrasive ingredient preparations (dried biscuits,
corn flakes) as this will damage the inside surface with fine scratches: the outlook of the product on the bottom
and sidewalls becomes hazy. It is also recommended to add salt only at the end of the recipe after blending or
chopping.
•
The Extra Chef blades should not be used for crushing and chopping very hard items such as ice, as this will
damage the product and could cause injury.
•
Always start off with pulling in fast movements so that the mechanism does not get blocked.
•
Do not over pull the cord to the very end as this is not necessary to obtain a fine result.
