
NURSERY CALIBRATION
1. With the White Noise Machine in place,
place your app-installed device where
a child will be sleeping in the room.
2. Tap the icon.
3. Adjust the volume of your White Noise
Machine to an acceptable range. Refer to
Sound Volume Advisory on p18. Set volume
to lowest level needed to achieve the
desired effect, and no more than 50dBA.
4. Do not place near a baby monitor as it
could prevent you from hearing baby.
5. In the event you do not calibrate for
nursery, do not set volume higher
than level 5.
INFANT SAFETY STATEMENT
To protect against potential hearing damage,
this sound machine should be used on
the minimum sound level at which it can
be effective. When being used with young
children, the device should be kept at a
minimum of
6 feet from the child
and the
sound level should NOT exceed level 5.
The sound level can be observed by either:
•
using the T&N White Noise Machine app or,
•
setting the device to the lowest possible
level (setting “1”) and increasing the volume
one step at a time until reaching setting “5”.
WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Please read and adhere to all safety and
operating instructions before use. Please
keep this instruction booklet for future use.
1.
Do not allow the White Noise Machine to
be covered (by a blanket, for example).
The White Noise Machine uses a real fan
with air flowing in from the top and out
from the sides. The White Noise Machine
is designed to run cool, but covering it
could cause it to overheat and seriously
damage the unit and the surrounding area.

Operating voltage must be
between 100-240V.
3.
Do not use if power cord or power adapter
is damaged. If either the cord or power
adapter are damaged, the unit must be
replaced by the manufacturer.
4.
The White Noise Machine’s power cord
should be routed to avoid being walked
on or pinched by items placed on or
against them.
5.
Do not overload outlets or extension
cords as this can result in a risk of fire or
electric shock. Overloaded AC outlets,
extension cords, frayed power cords,
damaged or cracked wire insulation,
and broken plugs are dangerous. They
may result in a shock or fire hazard.
6.
Do not connect the plug into an extension
cord, receptacle, or other outlet unless
the plug can be fully inserted with no
part of the blades exposed.
7.
Unplug the AC power adapter from the
wall when the unit is unused for long
periods of time or when moving the unit.
8.
To avoid electrocution, never use this
device near water: for example near a
bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, or
laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near
a swimming pool.
9.
Do not reach for the White Noise Machine
if it has fallen into water. Unplug it
immediately at the wall outlet, and if
possible, drain water before retrieving
the White Noise Machine.
10.
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not
expose this device to rain or moisture.
The device must not be exposed to dripping
or splashing. Be careful not to spill liquids
onto the device. If liquid does spill on
device, allow unit to dry to fully dry
before operating.
11.
DO NOT open the White Noise Machine.
It contains no user-serviceable parts.
12.
Do not attempt to modify the unit
yourself beyond what is described in the
operating instructions. Neither T&N nor
SNOOZ is responsible for any interference
or damage caused by unauthorized
modifications to this equipment.
13.
Do not apply excessive force when using
the White Noise Machine’s control surface.
14.
This product is designed for indoor
use only.
