The user mode allows you to set-up and edit the basic functions
(see Radio Features Explained).
To access the consumer mode, press the MODE button briefly.
Each press of the MODE button steps the radio sequentially
through the different functions. The radio display indicates the
current function. The present setting and associated icon flash.
Use the UP or DOWN button to change the setting. Press the PTT
or MODE button or wait for 5 seconds to store your choice. If your
do not press any key for 5 seconds your radio will return to
standby mode automatically.
NB. Squelch level adjustment works via the SQUELCH button.
