DANGER
Fire hazard
Alcohol can be ignited by ignition sources and cause a fire.
•
Excess alcohol must be disposed of in a suitable exhaust system.
•
Keep alcohol away from naked flames and lights, electric sparks, as well as any ignition source
and glowing objects.
The filter isn´t heat resistant! We recommend that the filter isn´t decontaminated with H2O2 vapor in
order to exclude the risk of the animals being stressed by H2O2 residues.
When using the air supply pump, exchange the filter every three months.
NOTICE
- Instrument damage!
The mass flow controllers in the Control Units are sensitive instruments that must be
protected against dust particles.
Check the air filters of the air supply pumps every month and replace them when dirty but LATEST
every three months (see Section 10.2.1). Failure to do so will void the warranty.
•
Remove the dirty filter. If biohazard risks exist, safety measures, e.g., wearing protective
clothing, should be taken when filter exchange is carried out. Please contact your safety
manager.
•
Dispose the contaminated filter according to the national safety and environmental
regulations.
•
Replace the decontaminated filter in the air supply pump before using it!
Overpressure valve decontamination
The overpressure valve should first be removed from the pump. It can be decontaminated with H2O2
vapor
before it is brought into the test laboratory.
