WATER LEAKS
CONDENSATION IS NORMAL WHEN HEAT PUMP IS OPERATING
Plasting NPT to Pressure Switch Fitting
- Remove Broken fitting with Flat screwdriver / needle nose pliers / Ez Out
Canister Leaks:
Seal:
1- Shut down the circulation pump
2- Turn off the heat pump’s circuit breaker
3- Try TIGHTENING THE V-BAND Clamp
4- Retest – If still leaking Loosen band and check that Gasket is in proper position
If Still Leaking – Replace Seal / Condenser
1) Start to Recover Refrigerant and do other steps while it is recovering to save time
2) Cut Clamps on canister side
3) Heat Spa Hose to slide off canister
4) Desolder Copper at Ti-Clad – Be sure to put wet cloth around titanium tubing to keep it cool
5) Unsrcew 3 Bolts and Lift Condenser out to service
6) Replace Condenser
7) Use heavy duty hose clamps to retighten water connections
8) Resolder Copper to Ticlad
9) Refil unit with refrigerant specified on tag
