5.2.2 

Answering and ending a telephone conversation 

 
Once a call is received, the status LED on the headset will start to flash. Press the 
On/Off button (1, figure 1) to accept the call (see step 4 of the Quick Installation 
Guide). Press the On/Off button again to end the call. 
 

5.2.3 

Altering the volume 

 
Press the + button (2, figure 1) on the headset to increase the volume. Press the – 
button (3, figure 1) on the headset to decrease the volume. See step 5 of the Quick 
Installation Guide. 
 

5.2.4 

Turning off the microphone 

 
To turn the microphone off during a conversation, press the + button (2, figure 1) and 
the – button (3, figure 1) until two short beeps are heard. The microphone will then be 
turned off. To turn the microphone back on, follow the procedure required to turn the 
microphone off. 
 

5.2.5 

Making an automatic call 

 

Note:

 

This option only works in combination with Sony Ericsson mobile 
telephones.

 

 
Carry out the following to make an automatic call using voice recognition: 
 

1. 

Record your voice and link it to the desired telephone number stored 
on your mobile telephone (see the instruction manual provided with 
your mobile telephone). 

2. 

Turn on your headset as described in steps 2 and 3 of the Quick 
Installation Guide. 

3. 

Press the On/Off button (1, figure 1) until a short, high pitched tone is 
heard. 

4. 

You may then hear another signal (depends on the type of mobile 
telephone). 

5. 

Speak the name of the person that you wish to call. 

 

5.2.6 

Turning the headset on and off 

 
Press the headset’s On/Off button (1, figure 1) for a couple of seconds until the red 
status LED starts to flash. The headset is now turned off. Follow the same procedure 
to turn the headset on again.
