INTRODUCTION

This submersible pump stands out due to its flow rate, efficiency, 

simple structure, usability and friendly maintenance.  It is used in 

deep well pumping projects, springs and irrigation systems.

Do not pump flammable, aggressive or health hazardous 

substances.  Do not use to pump feces.

The apparatus is not adequate for commercial use or permeant 

circulation in filtering systems or to be used with liquids that 

contain abrasive materials (for example, sand) or soil, sand, mud 

or clay.  Any other use is considered inadequate.  There is the 

possibility that unforeseen damage may occur as a result from 

inadequate use, or spare parts that are not been tested and 

approved by the manufacturer. 

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• In order to gain a safe operation, the user shall read and 

understand this instructions before using the apparatus for the 

first time.

• Be aware of all the safety instructions. Otherwise, the user and 

other people could get hurt.

• Save this instructions and safety information for future 

reference.

• Do not use the apparatus if showing damages or is not working 

correctly. If the apparatus is not working right it shall be repaired 

in a  

               Authorized Service Center.

• Do not use this apparatus in the vicinity of explosives or near 

flammable liquids or gasses.

• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.  Always disconnect the 

plug and do not pull the electric cable.

• By no means, use the power cable to lift or hold the pump or use 

it for uses different than the specified.

• The connection shall have a grounded power supply that is 

installed and tested correctly. Voltage in the power supply and the 

fuse shall match the technical data in the apparatus.

• The apparatus shall be connected with residual current switch 

(RCCB) with a short circuit current design not smaller than 30 mA

• Before connecting, double check the power supply matches the 

requirements for the apparatus.

• The apparatus shall be used only within the indicated limits for 

voltage, potency and rated speed of rotation (see the 

manufacturer nameplate).

• Do not tangle, tighten or pass a vehicle onto the power cable.  

Protect it from sharp edges, oil or heat.

• Do not use extension cables.

• In the event the power cable gets damaged, disconnect 

immediately the apparatus from the power supply.  Never use the 

apparatus if the power cable is damaged.

• Disconnect the plug from the power supply before servicing the 

apparatus.

• Disconnect the apparatus when not in use.

• Before connecting the apparatus to the power supply, verify the 

switch is in the OFF position.

• Before disconnecting the apparatus from the power supply, set 

the switch in the OFF position.

• Do not install and connect the apparatus when there are people 

or animals in the water.

• Children younger than 16 years old shall not use this apparatus. 

They should keep away from the apparatus when running.

• Any type of repairs shall be carried out in a  

 

Authorized Service Center.

If repairs are carried out incorrectly, there is danger that liquid 

enters the electric components.

• Any change or modification to the equipment and using 

non-authorized spare parts not authorized.

The build quality of the electric insulation is altered if spills or liquid 

get into the tool while in use. 

WARNING: 

Before gaining access to the terminals all power 

sources shall be disconnected.

The apparatus is not intended for the use of people (included 

children) whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities are reduced, 

or unexperienced people or with no previous knowledge, except if 

they are supervised by a person responsible of the apparatus.

 

              Children shall be under supervision to make sure 

they do not play with the apparatus.  Close supervision is required 

when disable people or children use any electrical devise or they 

are close to one.

This line of submersible pumps is designed to work with clean water 

like deep well and spring pumping or irrigation systems with clear water 

with solid particles up to 0.07” (BOS-1/2LM2 y BOS-3/4LM2) and 0.09” 

(BOS-1LM2, BOS-1-1/2LM2 y BOS-2LM2)
