One of the following three die types may be selected
depending on the thickness, tensile strength and
type of workpiece that is to be machined:

Using the highest possible die

Ensure that the distance X is as small as
possible!

Extreme up and down movements (wobbling) may
occur during the cutting process if an incorrect die is
used.

Result:

Remedy:

use the highest die whenever
possible

Punch selection

Two different punches may be used to machine
sheets with various tensile strengths:
