Checking for leaks in the high pressure area
The screw fittings of the high-pressure hoses at the gas
cylinder valve and at the DuoControl CS should be checked
for leaks using suitable means such as a leak-finder spray
according to EN 14291.
This is the responsibility of the operator.
Checking for leaks in the low pressure area
(maximum test pressure 150 mbar)
Test must be conducted by a technician!
– Turn off all consumers.
– Open stop valves and, if present, gas remote switch.
– Remove the threaded cap from the test connection (e)
and connect the test pump with test hose to the test
connection.
– Remove the protective cap (f) from the test valve, and turn
the valve 90° clockwise with an open-ended spanner (span-
ner width 6 mm).

– Conduct leak test (in Germany according to G 607, for
example).
When performing a hose change, please ensure that
the gasket provided with the hose (hose outlet, regula-
tor inlet) is correctly installed and not damaged.
We recommend that the gasket (part no. 50020-76300)
be replaced with every hose change.
– Screw country-specific high-pressure hose to DuoControl CS
inlet and cylinder (or to clip-on adapter).
– Open gas cylinder valve.
– Press the hose rupture protection and, if necessary, the re-
set button (see “Startup”).
– Check hose connection to cylinder valve and DuoControl CS
inlet for leaks after every modification (see “Checking for
leaks in the high pressure area”).
Using only one gas cylinder
You can also use DuoComfort CS with only one gas cylinder.
Non return valves integrated into the inlet connecting piece
prevent gas from escaping through the unused connecting
piece.
The free inlet must be sealed off using the provided cover
(brass) if only one cylinder is being used.
Turn control knob in direction of operating cylinder.
