AC LED
Turns on when AC power is applied and relay (K1) is closed. The motor controller
may turn off the safety relay (K1) if a faulty is detected at power up. K1 relay is
also controller from the upper console. CAUTION: The AC LED will stay on for a
few minutes after the AC power is removed. This is because high voltage DC
power is still present on board. Do not touch or remove board when this LED is
illuminated.
VDSP LED
Turns on when the power supply to the motor controller is present. CAUTION:
This is a floating ground (hot) and isolated from the chassis ground. Do not hook
this ground reference to the chassis ground.
DN LED
This LED indicates an elevation down command is present on the controller.
UP LED
This LED indicates an elevation up command is present on the controller.
+VCON LED
This LED is illuminated when the power supply to the upper console is available
to the controller.
PWM LED
This LED is illuminated when PWM signal from the upper console is present on
the controller. The LED will increase in intensity as the PWM duty cycle
increases. At high duty cycles, the LED would appear to be “on” all the time.
SPEED LED
This LED turns off each time the encoder wheel passes/is interrupted through
speed pickup.
