ATTACH SWEEP CULTIVATOR TO
TOW HITCH

As previously mentioned, the Sweep Cultivator

connects to the Tow Hitch Attachment on the Power
Unit.  Attach the Sweep Cultivator to the Tow Hitch as
follows:

Step 1:

Fit the C-shaped mounting bracket over the

top and bottom of the Tow Hitch and align the holes in
the hitch with those in the mounting bracket.  See
Photo 8.

B.

Slip a 7/16" lockwasher and then a 7/16" hex nut

onto each of the plow bolts.  Using an 11/16" socket
wrench or an adjustable wrench, tighten bolts
alternately until both are secure.  See Photo 6.

Step 2:

Insert the two hitch pins through the outer

holes in the bracket and Tow Hitch.  Placing both pins
in the outside holes keeps the Sweep straight.  See
Photo 9.

C.

Check carefully to make sure that all hardware is

secure.  When fully assembled, your Sweep Cultivator
should look like the one in Photo 7.
