OFFSET
The
Offset
function, like a special calibration, allows the gauge to be
adjusted for asphalt mixes not covered by the factory calibration.
This function is quicker than performing a special calibration but
less accurate. The
offset
should be used only to temporarily adjust
the gauge readings.
An offset may be a positive or negative value. If the offset is
positive, the value will be added to the gauge density readings. If
the offset is negative, the value will be subtracted from the density
readings. Offset values may be stored in memory for later recall or
input from the keypad.
