5.6 Wiring
Air handling units with X-CUBE Control are factory
wired. The functions of all electronic parts, sensors,
actuators, etc. are tested before shipment. If a unit has
to be disassembled for shipment or for moving it to the
final installation location, the cables are disconnected
(before shipment) at suitable interfaces and either
pushed back into the cable ducts or rolled up and fixed
to the AHU casing units (Fig. 37/1 and Fig. 37/2).
Cables and connection points are clearly marked with
the equipment code such that they can be correctly allo-
cated to each other. The wiring is also shown in the
wiring diagram (see switch cabinet).

tration shows cable pulled out)

e.g. behind heat exchangers
The following wiring steps have to be completed (by
others) before commissioning:
X-CUBE
Control
- Connecting the bus cables (daisy
Fans
- Feeding the factory supplied fan
cables through the cable duct to the
switch cabinet and connecting them
according to the wiring diagram.
Rotary heat
exchanger
- Feeding the factory supplied rotary
heat exchanger cables through the
cable duct to the switch cabinet and
connecting them according to the
wiring diagram.
Shut-off
dampers
- Only for shut-off dampers with spring
return actuator >20Nm: Feeding the
factory supplied cables for power
supply and signals through the cable
duct to the switch cabinet and con-
necting them according to the wiring
diagram.
