Operation
Battery change
Note
Make sure that the surface of the device is dry and the
device is switched off.
Note
Only use rechargeable batteries, see chapter Technical
data. Normal batteries are unsuitable for the device!
1. Remove the knurled screw (7) from the cover of the battery
compartment (8).
2. If required, remove the empty batteries.
3. Insert the charged batteries with correct polarity (6).

4. Close the cover of the battery compartment (8).
5. Reinsert the knurled screw (7) into the bore hole (5) of the
device.
Switching On/Off

1. Press the
UV lamp
button (4).

The UV lamp is switched on and illuminated for as long
as the
UV lamp
button is held.
Using the torch

1. Press the
Torch
button (2).

The torch is switched on and illuminated for as long as
the
Torch
button is held.
Errors and faults
The device has been checked for proper functioning several
times during production. If malfunctions occur nonetheless,
check the device according to the following list.
Fault

The UV lamp shows
signs of weakening.
The batterie

longer be switched

Charge the batteries
