Effectiveness of the ABV (Acce)
Here you can set whether the programmed acceleration/
braking delay should only be effective in (diode) braking
sections or always (even with control from a handheld
controller).
Always effective
1
Only in stop sections
2
Other numbers are not permitted.
Variants for Motor Control (Impw)
With this value you can adapt the control for the motor for
optimal results. No general rule can be given regarding
which variant will give the best control characteristics. You
just have to experiment a little.

Caution:
Control variant 4 is recommended for can motors with bell-
shaped armatures; pulse width 1 is also recommended for
these motors in the standard setting. No warranty claims
will be accepted for damages to motors as a result of incor-
rect settings.
Caution:
Motor control variant 3 is recommended for can motors with
bell-shaped armatures; pulse width 0 is also recommended
for these motors in the standard setting. No warranty claims
will be accepted for damages to motors as a result of incor-
rect settings.
SX2 Operation
Place the locomotive on the programming track and read
out the locomotive address. The basic setting should be
1001. Put the locomotive temporarily into operation with the
-
se settings and check functions that are available. After this
first check you can change the parameters to fit your needs.
If the reading device indicates “read error“, check again
to make sure that the wiring for the locomotive is correct
and pay attention to the information about connections
for the programming track. Do not put the locomotive into
operations under any circumstances until you have checked
out the above!
Programming the Locomotive (SX2)
The locomotive‘s characteristics for SX2 operation can be
changed as often as desired by programming the parame-
ters (par). The documentation for your programming device
will give you information about programming parameters.
Note:
With the exception of par001 and par002 all other parame
-
ters can be changed while the locomotive is in operation
(POM / Program on the Main).
