Wireless Hotspot
Wireless hotspot works only when following conditions are met:
•
USB 3.0 Wi-Fi USB adapter is connected to IFP.
•
IFP is connected via wired LAN network.

Select System Settings > Hotspot
2.
Turn on hotspot feature (activation may take a few seconds)

Enter the hotspot name in the textbox. T
he default name is “AndroidAP_7817”, which is
customizable.

Select encryption type. In case of an open network, no password is required, but any
device that finds this network will be able to connect to the Wi-Fi network of this device.
In case of WPA PSK/WPA2 PSK encryption, a security password over 8 digits must be
entered, and the correct password is required for other devices to connect to this
network.

After encryption is selected, the system will automatically configure a password, or it
can also enter a password in the password box.

Click “OK” to save settings, this network can be found by other Wi-Fi devices within the
range when they search Wi-Fi networks.
