• Make sure the backplate is square on the
wall and tighten the retaining screws which
hold it to the wall.
• Turn on the mains water supply and check
for leaks in the pipework connection to the
shower.
NOTE:
At this stage no water can flow through
the unit.
IMPORTANT:
A suitable sealant should always
be used to seal around the incoming pipework to
prevent water entering the wall.
• Route the cable into the shower unit for
connection to the terminal block
(fig.12)

Once the cables have been installed the two
trimplates will need to be fitted.
IMPORTANT:
When connecting the cable, fully
tighten the terminal block screws and make sure
that no cable insulation is trapped under the
screws. Loose connections can result in cable
overheating.
NOTE:
The supply cable earth conductor must
be sleeved. The outer sheath of the supply cable
must be stripped back to the minimum.
