Filter Replacement Instructions
Prefilter Replacement
1. Turn the unit off and unplug it.
2. Remove the used prefilter and carefully discard it in a plastic bag.
3. Line up the seam in the prefilter with the power cord at the
back of the unit. Pull the new prefilter over the unit so it snugly
covers the screen.
4. Plug the unit in and turn it on.
HEPA Cartridge Replacement
1. Turn the unit off and unplug it.
2. Turn the unit up-side down. With one hand holding the HEPA
cartridge, pull the motor/fan housing away. Discard the cartridge
in a plastic bag.
3. Sit the motor/fan housing right side up and seat the O-ring
gasket in the groove.
4. Place the HEPA cartridge on the motor/fan housing and align
the plugs in the cartridge with the holes in the housing. Once
the holes are aligned, press firmly on the top of the cartridge to
secure it to the housing.
6. Plug the unit in and turn it on.
Carbon Blanket Replacement
1. Turn the unit off and unplug it.
2. Turn the unit up-side down. With one hand holding the HEPA
cartridge, pull the motor/fan housing off.
3. Remove the used carbon blanket and carefully discard it in a
plastic bag.
4. Roll the new carbon blanket into a cylinder smaller than the size
of the opening in the HEPA cartridge. Insert the carbon blanket all
the way into the well and spread it open against the HEPA filter.
5. Sit the motor/fan housing right side up and seat the gasket in
the groove.
6. Place the HEPA cartridge on the motor/fan housing and align
the plugs in the cartridge with the holes in the housing. Once
the holes are aligned, press firmly on the top of the cartridge to
secure it to the housing.
7. Plug the unit in and turn it on.

AROMATHERAPY ODOR-DESTROYING PACKETS
Get rid of common household odors with Aromatherapy odor-destroying packets.
Simply drop an aromatherapy packet into the essence container on the top of the unit while it is
running and close the lid.

Instructions pour le remplacement du filtre
Remplacement du préfiltre
1. Coupez l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil et débranchez-le.
2. Retirez le préfiltre et jetez-le avec soin dans un sac en plastique.
3. Alignez la jointure du préfiltre avec le cordon d’alimentation
électrique situé à l’arrière de l’appareil. Insérez le nouveau
préfiltre sur l’appareil de manière à ce que le préfiltre enveloppe
de près l’écran.
4. Branchez l’appareil et remettez-le en marche.
Remplacement de la cartouche HEPA
1. Coupez l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil et débranchez-le.
2. Tournez l’appareil sens dessus dessous. Tenez la cartouche du
filtre HEPA d’une main et tirez sur le logement du moteur et du
ventilateur. Jetez la cartouche dans un sac en plastique.
3. Placez le logement du moteur et du ventilateur sens dessus
dessus et placez le joint étanche dans l’encoche.
4. Placez la cartouche HEPA dans le logement du moteur et du
ventilateur et alignez les prises dans la cartouche avec les
orifices pratiqués dans le logement. Lorsque les trous sont
alignés, appuyez fermement sur le dessus de la cartouche pour
l’insérer dans le logement.
5. Branchez l’appareil et remettez-le en marche.
Remplacement de la couverture de charbon
1. Coupez l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil et débranchez-le.
2. Tournez l’appareil sens dessus dessous. Tenez la cartouche
du filtre HEPA d’une main et tirez sur le logement du moteur et
du ventilateur.
3. Retirez la cartouche Couverture de charbon utilisée et jetez-la
avec soin dans un sac en plastique.
4. Roulez la nouvelle couverture de charbon pour en faire un tube
plus petit que l’ouverture de la cartouche HEPA. Insérez la
couverture de charbon jusqu’au fond de l’appareil et ouvrez-le
de manière qu’il soit en contact avec le filtre HEPA.
5. Insérez le logement du moteur et du ventilateur sens dessus
dessus et placez le joint étanche dans l’encoche.
6. Placez la cartouche HEPA sur le logement du moteur et du
ventilateur. Alignez les prises de la cartouche avec les orifices
pratiqués dans le logement. Lorsque les trous sont alignés,
appuyez fermement sur le dessus de la cartouche pour l’insé-
rer dans le logement.
7. Branchez l’appareil et remettez-le en marche.
