Cleaning and care
- Unplug the power cable before every cleaning.
- If necessary, clean the housing with a moist cloth and wipe dry afterwards. Do not use
any scouring agents or solvents such as benzine, petroleum, furniture cleaner or paint
- No water must permeate into the interior of the appliance (1)! The appliance must never
be cleaned under running water or in dishwasher.
- Clean blender shaft (4) under lukewarm water with a little washing liquid and dry tho
roughly afterwards.
Tip:
Residues of carrot or red cabbage juices on plastic parts can be removed with a little bit of
edible oil.
Disposal
Make worn out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord.
Electric appliances are to be returned to a
shop of sale
or handed over to an offi-
cial
dump.
Safety regulations
Plug the appliance only in an outlet as mentioned on the rating plate.
Never attempt to remove blender shaft while the device is in use.
Always switch off blender first and unplug from power supply.
Only plug in and use appliance if blender shaft and casing are firmly attached to each
other.
Always keep fingers away from the blade or blender shaft while the appliance is in use.
Risk of injury!
Blade is very sharp! Generally handle blender very carefully even if it is switched off or if
you want to clean it.
An electric appliance is not a children's toy. Children are not aware of the hazards
of electrical appliances. Therefore close supervision is necessary when the appliance
is used by children. Keep children away from packing material, e.g., plastic bags.
No colours (varnish, polyester and so on) must be mixed with the appliance. Risk of
explosion!
Plastic parts must not be dried on or in the immediate vicinity of heating appliances.
Keep solid devices such as spoons, knives or beaters, as well as fingers away from
moving blade. Risk of injury!
Also keep clothing and hair away from blender shaft. Risk of injury!
Keep cable away from blender shaft while appliance is in use.
