Notes:
• HDD/SSD drives are sensitive to static electricity and must be handled carefully
so as not to risk data loss. Always handle an HDD/SSD drive with caution by
wearing an anti-static strap (such as Tripp Lite’s P999-000) when transporting
it or by touching a grounded metal surface to discharge yourself of static
electricity before touching the drive.
• If your SATA drive has not been formatted, you must do so using your
computer’s Disk Management Utility in order to copy and access files.
• Before unplugging the enclosure, properly eject the drive from your computer
to avoid potential data loss.
1.
Make sure the Lock/Unlock button on the bottom of the unit is

Slide a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD into each drive tray.
4.
Line up the SATA plug on the drives to the SATA reciprocals on each
drive tray.
5.
Slide the covers back onto each side of the enclosure.
6.
Switch the Lock/Unlock button to Lock.
7.
Set the RAID configuration. See the
RAID Mode

for instructions on how to do this.
