The RV612ENT provides all of the features and functions of the RV612ULH described in the accompanying owner’s
manual with one exception—the RV612ENT does not include a battery charger. However, the RV612ENT will pass
through utility- or generator-supplied AC power (when available) and will automatically switch to inverting DC power
from connected batteries to power connected equipment when utility- or generator-supplied AC power is unavailable.

Since the RV612ENT does not feature a battery charger, the following operational feature changes apply:

Specifications for the RV612ENT are identical to the RV612ULH with the exception of battery charger specifications,
which do not apply.

2) Operating Mode Switch:

controls RV612ENT operation. The “AUTO/REMOTE” setting ensures your equipment

receives constant, uninterrupted AC power. It also enables the RV612ENT to be remotely monitored and controlled
with an optional remote module (Tripp Lite model APSRM2, sold separately or included with select models). The
“OFF” setting allows you to disable the inverter and prevent AC power from being passed through to equipment. The
“INV OFF” setting allows you to disable the inverter while still allowing AC power to pass through (when available)
to equipment.

4) BATTERY Indicator Lights:

intuitive “traffic light” signals show approximate charge level of your battery when

the RV612ENT is in invert mode (operating from inverted DC battery power).

Switch Modes

“AUTO/REMOTE”:

Switch to this mode when you need constant, uninterrupted AC power for connected appliances

and equipment. The RV612ENT will supply AC power to connected equipment while utility-or generator-supplied AC
power is present. Since the inverter is ON (but in Standby) in this mode, it will automatically switch to your battery system
to supply AC power to connected equipment in the absence of a utility/generator source or in over/under voltage situations.
“AUTO/REMOTE” also enables an optional remote control module (Tripp Lite model APSRM2, sold separately) to
function when connected to the unit.

“INV OFF”:

Switch to this mode when you are not using connected appliances and equipment in order to conserve battery

power by disabling the inverter. The RV612ENT will continue to supply AC power to connected equipment while utility- or
generator-supplied AC power is present. However, since the inverter is OFF in this mode, it WILL NOT supply AC
power to connected equipment in the absence of a utility/generator source or in over/under voltage situations.

“OFF”:

Switch to this mode to shut down the RV612ENT completely, preventing the inverter from drawing power from the

batteries, and preventing utility AC from passing through to connected equipment. Use this switch to automatically reset
the unit if it shuts down due to overload or overheating. First remove the excessive load or allow the unit to sufficiently
cool (applicable to your situation). Switch to “OFF”, then back to “AUTO/REMOTE” or “INV OFF” as desired. If unit
fails to reset, remove more load or allow unit to cool further and retry.

Note: all other references on this page to the “CHARGE ONLY” setting can be replaced by the “INV OFF” setting.

BATTERY Indicator Lights:

when the RV612ENT is in invert mode (operating from inverted DC battery power), its

BATTERY Indicator Lights will function as indicated in the accompanying owner’s manual—with the exception of the
charger shutdown fault condition, which is not applicable. When the RV612ENT is in line mode (operating from utility- or
generator-supplied AC power), the red BATTERY Indicator Light will be illuminated.

This does not indicate battery

capacity; it only indicates that the RV612ENT is in line mode.

Note: the A1 and A4 DIP Switches on the RV612ENT have no function.

Note: all references on this page to the “CHARGE ONLY” setting can be replaced by the “INV OFF” setting. All
references to the unit’s internal charger do not apply.
