The extender operates over an IP LAN. Installing the units on a
network allows point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-
to-multipoint setups by connecting multiple transmitter/receiver
B162-XXX-POE devices on the same local area network. The
extender can be used as a video matrix when connected to
the LAN via an Ethernet switch, enabling you to add multiple
transmitters and receivers to the setup.
Note:
Make sure to use an Ethernet switch that supports IGMP. For more
information, refer to the complete product Owner’s Manual, available at
