2.5.3 LCD Display
Icon
Function
Description
Input AC
Icon
Indicates the input source status.
1. ON: The AC input is within the acceptable bypass range.
2. Flashing: The AC input is out of the acceptable bypass range but is still
sufficient for the unit to operate in On-Line Mode.
3. OFF: The AC input is out of the acceptable bypass range and is not sufficient
for the unit to operate in On-Line Mode.
Load Bank
Icon
Indicates the output status.
1. ON: There is output to load bank 1 / load bank 2.
2. OFF: There is no output to load bank 1 / load bank 2.
Battery Mode
Icon
Indicates Battery Mode operation.
1. ON: The UPS is operating in Battery Mode.
2. OFF: The UPS is not operating in Battery Mode.
Off Mode /
Standby
Operation
Illuminates when the UPS is providing standby operation (no AC output) in Off
Mode.
Note:
This screen is only available in Off Mode when the Off Mode Setup preference is set
to OFF. Off Mode is not a protected operating mode.
Off Mode /
Bypass
Operation
Illuminates when the UPS is providing bypass operation (AC output is LIVE) in Off
Mode.
Note:
This screen is only available in Off Mode when the Off Mode Setup preference is set
to ON. Off Mode is not a protected operating mode.
Inverter On
Illuminates when the UPS is providing on-line, double-conversion protection in
“qUA” (Max-Quality) or “AdA” (Auto-Adaptive) operating modes.
Also illuminates in “ECO” (Max-Efficiency) mode when input AC is greater than
+/-10% of the configured nominal voltage.
Frequency
Conversion /
Regulation
This screen flashes when the UPS is operating in Frequency Conversion mode
(FC5, FC6) or Frequency Regulation (FCA) operating modes.
Frequency conversion / regulation is a protected operating mode. Bypass is not
available in this operating mode.
Battery
Backup Mode
Illuminates when the UPS is operating in Battery Backup Mode.
ECO Mode
Illuminates when the UPS is operating in ECO (Max-Efficiency) Mode and input
voltage is /-10%.
Note:
ECO Mode and Bypass Operation displays are similar. In ECO Mode, the “ECO” icon
is ON and the green output LED is continuous. ECO is a protected operating mode.
