Indirect Measurement - Determining a Distance Using 2 Measurements
(See Figure G)
A height that cannot be measured directly can be calculated from 2 indirect measurements.
Press this button
once, the display
shows. The distance to be measured (1) flashes in the symbol.
Aim at the upper point (1) and trigger the measurement.
After
measurement (1), move the LazerTape to point at the
base of the unknown height (establish a right angle).
Press to measure distance (2).
The 3
rd
line with the display the calculated height.
