CLASS C MOTORHOME
12 WATER/PLUMBING SYSTEM
Your motorhome is designed with a fresh water,
grey water, black water and associated plumbing to
handle all of the water and waste requirements.
Review this section carefully to understand each
system and how they function together.
12.1 FRESH WATER SYSTEM
There are two sources for fresh water in
your motorhome:
1.
A water tank located within your
motorhome.
2.
By connecting to “city water” by means
of a water hose.
Both can supply water to the sink, shower,
bathroom toilet and the water heater.
The water system built into your
motorhome provides full service similar to
the system used in your home. A 12-volt
self-priming pump draws water from the
fresh water storage tank to all cold faucets
and the water heater. An automatic
pressure switch, located in the water pump
maintains a positive line pressure.
All fresh water components and fittings are
accessible from the drivers side of the
motorhome.
