2 . D C B A L (2) adjustment
If the trace moves up or down at particular ranges w h e n
the vertical attenuator V A R I A B L E is turned, perform the
following adjustment.
(1) With the V A R I A B L E turned fully counterclockwise,
set the trace in the center of the scale. Next, turn
the V A R I A B L E fully c l o c k w i s e . If, at this time, the
trace moves up or d o w n , adjust the V A R B A L V R
until it is centered.
(2) Repeat the above steps so that the trace s t a y s still
w h e n the V A R I A B L E is turned.

Vertical Attenuator Adjustment (VOLTS/DIV)
(1) Using a square w a v e generator, apply 1kHz
0 . 5 - 1 OOVp-p signal to the vertical input terminal.
" (2) Set the V O L T S / D I V to 0 . 1 V and adjust the trimmer
T C 2 0 2 until high quality of square w a v e is obtain-
ed.
(3) Similarly, adjust the T C 2 0 4 for the 1 V range and
the T C 2 0 6 for the 1 0 V range.
