Attention
The installation and assembly have to be performed by a skilled
electrician. Installation and operation have to comply with the
national safety regulations.
The enclosed
General Instructions
have to be absolutely observed.
Luminaire is only allowed to be operated with its complete protective
cover.
Luminaire is also suitable for indoor areas (t
a
=25°C).
Luminaire is suitable for looping-through connection only in combination
with customer supplied cable box.
Installation
Pole
Open access door (1) and fasten the customer-provided cable box to the
C-channel (3). Lead fixed connection cable through cable entry of the pole
up to access door area. The insertion depth of the pole (2) is 1000mm.
Pole cap
Lead customer-provided fixe flexible connection cable (l ~ 4.5 mts) from
access door area up to terminal (4). Connect cable to terminal and secure
with cable clip (5).
Connect fixed flexible connection cable(s) for luminaire head(s) to
terminal (4) of pole cap and fixate with cable clip(s) (7) (see figure). Attach
push-on contact(s) to protection conductor(s) and connect to blade
terminal (6).
Note:
The jackets of the connection cables have to be removed less
than 30mm. The wires must be skinned max. 7 mm. Wires
have to be tied up by the supplied cable fixers in a distance
of 10-15mm to the terminal (see figure).
Lead connection cable(s) down through the pole and feed through
cable entry(ies) (9) using supplied cable gland(s). Mount pole cap
on pole and secure with setscrew (10).
Cantilever
Undo screws (25) and washers (26) to open connection part (13)
of cantilever (14). Lead connection cable(s) through the
cantilever. Align connection part of cantilever to the pole and
tighten screws and washers with a torque of 8Nm. Secure with set
screw.
Luminaire head
Undo fast-locks (24) and open cover (23). Undo screws (21) and
washers (22). Take the electrical equipment (20) out of the
housing (16).
Feed connection cable(s) through cable gland(s) (15) into housing
(max 300mm). Tighten cable gland with a torque of 6,25Nm.
Connect housing with cantilever using screws (18) and washers
(17). Tighten screws with a torque of 8Nm.
Connect cable(s) to plug connector (19). Reassemble luminaire in
reverse order. Insert lamp.
Close cover and rotate fast-locks
clockwise to lock.
Adjustment of reflector position
The delivery position is wide beam. Unfasten screws (12) to
change to the narrow beam position. Rotate the two reflectors
inwards to the preassembled screws. Fix the reflector with screws
in the new position.
Insertion of lamp - Relamping
Undo fast-locks (24) and open cover (23). Insert / replace lamp.
Close the luminaire and and tighten fast-locks.
