Connecting
Headset
to
Device
To
use
the
ModCom
One
Headset
with
a
Bluetooth
Device
(or
“Host”),
such
as
a
mobile
computer
or
industrial
tablet,
you
must
first
establish
a
wireless
connection
between
the
Headset
and
the
intended
Device.
This
process
is
called
“Pairing”.
Pairing
The
Headset
may
be
paired
with
Bluetooth
devices
in
the
following
three
ways:
1.
Touch
‐
to
‐
Pair
with
devices
supporting
an
NFC
Connection.
2.
Scan
‐
to
‐
Pair
with
devices
supporting
Bluetooth
Mac
Address
Scanning.
3.
Standard
Bluetooth
pairing
where
the
headset
is
discovered
by
the
Host.
Headset
must
be
within
close
proximity
of
the
host
to
complete
pairing.
To
initiate
pairing,
Headset
must
be
powered
off.
If
the
headset
is
on,
turn
off
by
pressing
the
Multi
‐
Function
Button
(MFB)
for
2
seconds.
Initiate
headset
pairing
by
pressing
the
Multi
‐
Function
Button
for
7
seconds
until
you
hear
“Pairing”
and
the
LED
alternately
flashes
red
and
blue.
1.
For
Touch
‐
to
‐
Pair,
touch
Headset
NFC
tag,
located
in
the
microphone
assembly,
to
NFC
tag
of
Host.
2.
For
Scan
‐
to
‐
Pair,
activate
Host
scanning
function
and
scan
Headset
Bluetooth
Mac
Address
Barcode
Label.
