Satellite, SAT identification
The
SAT Identification
function is used to easily identify satellites. For example, on a BIS switch to which several
satellites are connected, this function can be used to identify the connected satellites in the simplest possible way.
The example below shows the automatic identification of satellites during the search. The UPM 1400 searches for all
satellites until it receives a signal for LNB 1 with the correct satellite ID. In the example below, the Astra 19.2E
satellite has been detected at the DiSEqC LNB1 port. Change the DiSEqC port to LNB2 and the device will start
searching from the beginning and display the connected satellites for LNB2 after scanning. You can cancel the
search at any time by pressing the EXIT button.
