2.1  PSU 249/8 power supply must be used with 230VAC ±10% 50Hz mains supply. 

2.2  The output voltage is 24VAC with an output power of 192W..

2.3  The power supply has the following protection functionality: Over-current and short   

 

circuit protection.

2.4  The rated input voltage of the switch mode power supply is 230VAC ±10% 50Hz.

2.5  Operating Temperature -10and +30°C

 

3.1  Remove the power supply from the packaging and check for any damage that may

 

have occurred in transit. If the power supply is damaged DO NOT Use and return to   

 

your Supplier.

3.2   Make sure that the Incoming mains supply is turned off at the circuit breaker and that   

 

the power supply is also switched off

3.3   Install the power supply in a suitable location free from moisture and dust.

 

The power supply can be mounted on to a wall.

 

Step 1:  

Use the template provided to accurately mark out the hole locations

 

Step 2:  

Drill 4  x M4 holes and insert Rawl plugs (not supplied)

 

Step 3:  

Align power supply up with the holes and insert the 4 screws, ensure that  

    

the power supply is level prior to fully tightening the screws.

 3.4  Connect mains supply cables in accordance to BS 7671 17th Edition Wiring   

 

 

Regulations, This power supply must be installed by a suitably qualified Electrician or  

 

competent Person.

3.5  Whilst the Power supply is switched OFF, connect all Cameras to the desired output   

 

pair, which is individually protected by a fuse. Refer to drawings.

3.6   Once the installation of the wiring and connection of the cameras is complete, turn   

 

on the mains supply and then the Power supply. When the power supply is switched   

 

ON a RED LED will illuminate.

3.7   The input fuse rating is 250VAC/4A

1.1  Read the manual carefully before use.

1.2  The switching power supply shall be installed according to the installation instruction.

1.3  For indoor use only. Do not use this equipment near water.

1.4  Please follow the required power rate from power label. In case of any questions   

 

please refer to the equipment.

1.5  AC power cable plug with 3 pins, the third pin for grounding. Use the qualification  

 

 

power cord to operate and make sure the connection as the safety condition.

1.6  Do not overload the power supply.

1.7  Make sure the power is OFF during installation.

1.8  Servicing – Do NOT attempt to service the product yourself. Removing covers can   

 

expose you to electric shock and other dangerous conditions. Maintenance should be  

 

performed by a suitably qualified person only.
