Before use, select the correct measuring unit by using the selector under the scale.
Weighing

Place the scale on stable and flat surface.

Press
and wait until on display appears “0.000 kg”

Place the baby on the scale with care and attenction.

The scale is equipe with a HOLD system:
1)
Even if the baby slightly moves, the automatic hold function can fix the weight.
2)
If the baby moves too much, the weight cannot be visualized. In this case you can press the
“HOLD” key, and after 3 seconds the weight will be displayed.

The automatic weighting (option 1) is better because is more accurate. Therefore try to calm down the
baby without touching him, in case he moves too much.

After fixing the weight, i twill be displayed for 20 seconds, then the scale will automatically switch off.
Tare function
If you don’t want to place the baby directly on the scale, but on a towel, you can use the tare function.

Press
and wait until on display appears “0.000 kg”

Place the towel on scale.
-
After the word HOLD on display stops flashing, press again
and wait until on display appears “0.000
kg”
-
Weight the baby.
Note
: if you turn on the scale AFTER having placed the towel is not necessary to tare.
Select the measurement unit
Using the key in the base, the unit of measurement can be changed from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb) to once
(oz). The display shows "kg" or "lb" “oz”, depending on the unit chosen.
Exceeding load
The capacity of the scale is up to 20 Kg. Once exceeding that value, the display shows
“EEEE”
.
Low battery indication
When the battery is running low, the display shows
.
Replace the battery with a new one, following the steps shown in the "Insert batteries" section.
SWITCH-OFF
The switch-off is automatic: once the weighing value is displayed, after 20 seconds the
scale is switched off automatically.
CLEANING
Clean the unit with a damp cloth and soft and non-abrasive cleaners only.
