Networking Setup
: Configure the proper settings for the device to connect to your wireless network.
For further information or any assist, please contact the network administrator.
SSID (Wireless Network Name)
: Enter the SSID (Service Set Identifier) of the wireless router or
access point that you are connecting to. Alternately, you can choose AUTO SCAN to search for
available wireless networks so that you can easily get connected. Choose the device you would
like to connect and hit ENTER to select. Once selected, hit ESC to escape the SSID section.
Authentication Mode
: Select the authentication method to secure the device from being used by
unauthorized users: OPEN, SHARED, WEPAUTO, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK.
Encryption Type
: WEP is used to secure the device within the wireless network. (only when you
use WEP encryption)
