Connecting to ActiveSync using a Modem
Before you begin:

Setup a partnership between your device and the desktop
computer using serial cable, cradle, or infrared connection.

If your computer is running Windows NT 4.0, you need to
install Remote Access Service (RAS). RAS is included with
Windows 2000.

If you are running Windows 95, you need to install Dial-Up
Networking Upgrade (DUN) 1.3 or later.
