Functional test of the safety switches

Feeding lid
The function of the safety switch on the feeding lid is checked with three
function tests.
NOTICE
Actions in case of malfunction!
If there is any malfunction, the machine must be switched off immediately
and secured against unintended switching on. Also unplug and secure the
mains plug.

Only restart the machine when this error has been remedied by
TREIF Customer Service!
TEST 1
1. Open the infeed cover.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
- The cutting process must not start (no blade rotation); an error mes-
sage is displayed.
- There is a malfunction if the cutting process starts.
TEST 2
1. Close the infeed cover.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
- The cutting process starts (blade rotation).
- There is a malfunction if the cutting process does not start and an
error message is displayed.
TEST 3
1. Close the infeed cover.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
- The cutting process starts (blade rotation).
3. Try to open the feeding lid while the cutting process is running.
- The feeding lid must not let itself be opened due to the interlocking.
There is a malfunction if this is not the case.
