Installation Notes  

 

Install The Blower First 

The blower is best installed by removing the rear access plate.  This must be done before the fireplace is 

installed.  If the fireplace has already been installed, the blowers may be installed by removing the burner 
then removing the access plates on the firebox floor.   

WARNING

Disable power to the fireplace while installing the blower (disable the service breaker).  Do not 
activate power to the fireplace until the blower kit is fully installed and grounded. 
Do not connect 110-120 VAC to the gas control valve or wiring system of this appliance. 

 

 

If installing the blowers prior to installing the fireplace (RECOMMENDED) skip the to the 
“Installation” section on page 4. 

 

Installing the Blower from Inside Firebox (not recommended) 

The fireplace is equip with a removable valve tray assembly that allows for installation and service of the 
blower after the fireplace has been installed.  To access the lower portion of the appliance: 

  Turn the gas off to the fireplace. 

  Disable AC power to the fireplace (turn off breaker) 

  Remove the glass assembly and logs (see manual). 

  Remove the burners (see manual).   

  Remove the media tray skirt. 

 

  Remove the (2) ¼” screws that secure the media tray to the grate assembly and remove the media tray.  

  

 

  Remove the (4) ¼” screws that secure the grate to the firebox (2 on the back of the firebox and 2 to the 

floor – see below).
