Installing the Logs – 3’x3’
HINT:
Each log has a hole in the bottom to accommodate the alignment rod. When installing the log,
place your finger beside the hole to align the log with the threaded rod.
HINT:
The alignment rods should support the logs. After the logs are installed you may wish to use the
crushed glass to shim the bottom of the logs to provide additional support.
NOTE:
The see-through units have identical logs that are installed at the front and rear of the fireplace.
See-Through Units Only
1. Install the inner rear glass (see manual).
NOTE: On see-through units using an external window, you may wish to install the rear logs from
the front (the images will be reversed – rest the logs against the outer glass).
2. Install logs 1 and 2 as shown below.
NOTE:
You may need to rotate the logs for best fit. They can lean against the inner glass.
3. Install the crushed glass on the rear tray (see manual). Then install the outer rear glass (see
manual).
