Propane (LP) Installations Require the Stepper Motor Kit (94400999)
This insert is shipped as a GSR unit with remote built in. When converting to propane, you will need to use the
propane stepper motor kit (sku 94400999 – package of 4).

This Insert Requires a ½” Hearth 12” Deep
See installation manual for details.

If Using Tall Vent (over 25’) You Must Open the Diffuser Before Attaching Vent
The diffuser must be adjusted before attaching the vent (it is attached to the vent connector and is concealed
once the vent is installed). See owner’s manual for details.

This Insert Uses an Exhaust Restrictor
This insert, unlike our earlier inserts, uses an exhaust restrictor to control the exhaust flow. See the manual for
details.

Vent Kit “G” (sku 96200331) May Be Used With This Insert
The co-linear 3” and 4” vent kit works with this insert. See manual for details.

Accessible Fuses are Built In
This insert has a set of 4-amp fuses that protect the fan control module. If the accent light or blower encounters a
power-outage, replace these fuses first.

Shipping Brackets on Side of Insert May be Removed and Discarded
These brackets, and screws, are used to protect the insert. See surround panel instructions for details.

Glass Tool is Attached to the Insert, Inside the Right Convection Chamber
This insert uses a glass tool to remove the glass frame. It is shipped inside the right convection chamber,
attached with a screw. See the photos below for glass frame removal. See manual for details.
