Overview
This kit contains an “E” clip, grounding wire, and screws designed to improve the grounding performance of
your gas appliance. This update provides a significant improvement in grounding of the pilot, resulting in
improved pilot spark and pilot rectification.
NOTE
: This kit is for Travis Industries, Inc. products only.

1/4” and 5/16” Nutdrivers

Pliers

E-Clip
•
Grounding Wire (used only on certain models – see page 3)
•
(2) 10-24 x 3/8” Thread-Forming Screws (used only on certain models – see page 3)
Installation

Access the firebox and remove the burner (see
installation/owner’s manual for details).

Remove the pilot hood and place it aside.

Remove and discard the pilot hood clip. Needle-
nose pliers work well for this.
4
Replace the pilot hood.
