Basket Assembly Instructions
1.
Fabric Body
– gently open all 4 Velcro flaps, found on the top edge.
2.
Front Panel
– Insert front panel in the pocket
3.
Padded Bottom Panel
– angle in at the back, under the safety strap – and gently push down in
front until pad sits level.
4.
Steel Frame
a.
Place steel frame at top of basket inside both the front and rear panels.

Steel image frame visible (see previous image).
b.
Make sure frame is above the velcro strips.
c.
Close front and rear flaps, make sure velcro makes good contact. The front and rear
flaps, when closed, keep the steel bar in position.
5.
Side Panels
a.
Place side panels in position – Velcro
UP
and facing
IN
, covering the steel frame.

angle the panel towards the back first, then gently push in at front.
6.
With “top flaps” still open
… ensure steel frame is above Velcro, then close flaps and ensure
good contact with matching Velcro strip. This keeps steel frame in position.
Bicycle attachment Instructions
1.
Take each top attachment strap and thread through the square chrome ring.

2.
Wrap each attachment strap around your handlebars at least twice leaving no slack.

position basket so that is sitting slightly raised in the front ‐ cargo weight will level it out

Optional Gripper Strips – placed under each strap. Designed for extra grip to keep the
attachment straps from sliding on slick chrome handlebars.
(see steps diagram below)
3.
Click/close each connector attached to the rear of your Co‐Pilot into the top strap and tighten.
4.
Load your precious cargo, attach the safety strap to your dog’s harness, and enjoy!
Optional Gripper Strips ‐
Can be used to keep the Attachment Straps from sliding, especially
for bikes with curvy handlebars. Simply tuck the strip behind the strap as shown in the steps below.
