the local power grid.
All the TRAPP shredders, with gasoline-powered
engine, come out from factory mounted without oil
in the engine and without gasoline, before turning
the engine on, the following information must be
verified and followed, according to page 53.
Shredders TRF 60, TRF 70, TRF 80 and TRF 80M,
are provided with a 127 and 220 V voltage selector.
Check if the voltage indicated in the selector is
compatible with the power grid voltage before
plugging the engine in, if necessary adjust the
voltage as indicated on page 63 of this manual.
In order to perform the correct connection, the data
indicated in the motor's identification plate and the
numbering printed in the power cord insulation
itself, when the shredder is provided with an electric
motor.
Models TRF 300 and TRF 90 are provided with an
IP22 motor mounted uncovered in the shredder's
frame; to connect the wires, check the motor's
identification plate and proceed with the connection
in the on/off switch wire.
The other electric models are provided with an
IP00 motor and are housed in a plastic protection;
to proceed with the wires connection according to
the local power grid, remove the plastic protection
as indicated on page 63 to have access to the motor,
the motor connection plate and the connecting
wires; after completing the wire connection, close
the protection again.
