ATTACHING SWEEPER HITCH TO RIDING MOWER

1.

 Place the riding mower and sweeper on a level surface.

2.

 Set the sweeper height adjustment handle to about the middle of its adjustment range [Fig. 22, page 08].

3.

 Attach the sweeper hitch to the riding mower hitch, marking adjustments to the hitch brackets depending on 

the drawbar height of your riding mower.

SWEEPER REGULATION

BRUSH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

To adjust the height of the brushes, move the height adjustment lever upwards to raise the brush or downwards 
to lower the brush height. To start brushes regulation, dispose the adjustment lever on position “1”. Then check 
grass height [Fig. 23, page 08].

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

1.

 Clean sweeper housing with a soft brush or cloth.

2.

 Clean debris from hopper bag with a brush or broom.

3.

 Remove any material which has wrapped around brushes or ends of brush shaft.

STEPS FOR MAINTENANCE

1.

 Clean the sweeper after each use.

2.

 Inspect for worn or damaged parts, such as brushes and wheels.

3.

 Lubricate the brush shaft bearing twice a with a few drops of oil.

4.

 Remove wheels and clean sprockets and gears found inside the wheel housing.

After cleaning, lubricate with an even coat of light grease. To remove the wheel, pop off the hub cap using a 

screwdriver and remove the lock nut and flat washer.
