Adjust the position of the foot braces.
• To adjust the foot braces, simply slide your hand
under the tab and pull spring loaded lever on the
backside of the foot brace to release the pin .
• You can now slide the foot brace along the track to a
comfortable position .
• You can also adjust the foot braces from a sitting
position inside the kayak using your feet .
Your TRAK is ready to paddle.

ONE FINAL STEP!
Before paddling, ensure the SHELL is TIGHT.
• For optimum performance, there should be no slack,
particularly on the sides of the shell .
• The TPS jacks are already in place. Now PULL each
GUNwALE Jack 3-5 times until shell is very taut .
It should be rigid, particularly around the cockpit .
• Now PULL the KEEL jack the number of times required
for desired ROCKER at put-in .

NOTE:
As long as you adjust the gunwale jacks evenly, it
simply adds rigidity. If you adjust them unevenly,
you will adjust the lateral trim (VariTRIM).
NOTE:
You can paddle your TRAK with low tension in
your jacks. But for optimum performance, ensure
sufficient jack tension.
