Before starting installation insure that there is an even gap of at least 5/8
”(16mm) between the hood
and the grill across the entire length of the hood.(Fig.1) ,If the gap need to be adjusted, Slightly loosen
the adjustment bolts located at the point shown(Fig.2) and gently nudge the grill until the correct gab
is achieved. Retighten the bolt.

Lift the hood and remove any dirt or debris. Clean the area under the hood with the alcohol pad where
the tape is to adhere.
3.
Remove the red backing from the adhesive tape on the hood protector.
4.
Insert the grommet nuts into the slots in the hood where the outer tabs of the hood protector will
mount.
5.
Center the hood protector and fasten the outer mounting tabs to the hood .Using screws with washers
going into the grommet nuts you placed in the hood. And apply firm pressure to securely adhere them
to the underside of the hood.
