PREPARATION FOR USE
01) Place your preamplifier on a flat, stable surface.
02) Power switch , located on the left side of the unit should be in the OFF position .
03) Make sure that the voltage selector switch (located next to the AC inlet) is properly set for
the line voltage in your country.
04) Plug in the power cord .
05) Connect LINE OUT of the Evolution Phono One to line inputs of your preamplifier or
integrated amplifier. Make sure that volume control is set to minimum.
06) Connect your turntable to the MM or MC input , depending on your cartridge type.
07) If the tonearm comes with the grounding wire, connect the wire to the grounding plug
(GND) on the rear panel of the phono preamplifier.
08) By using the front panel input selector switch, select the cartridge type , MM or MC.
09) By using the impedance selector switch, select the loading impedance , as recommended
by your cartridge manufacturer.
10) Turn on the Evolution Phono One and your preamplifier or integrated amplifier
11) Slowly increase volume , to make sure there are no unusual noises coming out of the
speakers.
12) CONGRATULATIONS! You are all set and ready to enjoy high sound quality of the
Evolution Phono One preamplifier .
