Secure the cable gland’s cap tightly onto the conduit, once the wiring is inside the sign’s enclosure. 
 
After the conduit is secured, feed the wires from inside the conduit through the holes in the battery 
shelves and pull them through to the electrical compartment into the lower area of the enclosure.  

 

 

WARNING

: Before ever doing any maintenance on a sign, it is critical that the power 

is first turned off. This will prevent accidental electrical shock that can be fatal and 
that can also damage electrical components.
